CT Interventional Procedure Fluoroscopy
CT fluoroscopy, enables real-time monitoring with a high degree
of geometric precision, which usually is not accompanied by any
significantly disturbing artifacts. This increases the accuracy
level of reaching the target, shortens intervention time and improves
the biopsy yield. CT-supported interventions do not necessarily
imply high patient dose.
On the contrary, a variety of features efficiently reduce the
radiation exposure for both physician and patient. CT fluoroscopy
has become a safe and effective instrument for all diagnostic
and therapeutic, percutaneous interventions, such as vertebral
facet infiltrations for pain relief.
